Seasonal Course

Class Introduction:

Regular Seasonal Program

The regular Seasonal Program is for people who are interested in the Chinese Language and willing to stay in Taiwan for a relatively long period of time. CLCC offers regular seasonal programs of 8 and 12 weeks.  An immersive learning environment helps students to learn effectively. The course content includes Chinese language and cultural learning, which aims at listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills from beginners to advanced learnings. The application of language in the real world is emphasized.

Course  2021-2022  ( 8 or 12 weeks for a term) 

Course  2022-2023  (11 weeks for a term  from summer ) 

 

Course Hour and Levels 

  1. 15 hours per week, which fits the minimum requested hour of FR visa.
  2. 10 levels for beginners to advanced learners. 720 hours in total. Please refer here for the Level Chart of CLCC Program of Chinese Language. 
  3. A placement test is offered before courses begin. (Zero beginner doesn't need to take the placement test.)

Eligibility

-18 years old and above.

-studying for at least 2 months on the arranged time by CLCC

 

Class size

6-15 people for each class/level

CLCC offers classes when the number of applicants exceeds 6. If not, CLSS preserves the right to decide whether the classes are offered. 

 Required Documents

Please prepare the required documents before applying online. The documents are accepted in only Chinese or English versions. Only PDF and Image files are supported for upload. 

*Required Application Documents

(1) Passport-sized photo. Printed photos will be needed upon enrollment

(2) Photo page of the passport. Clearly visible passport number, personal details, and photographs.

(3) Diploma/school transcript (or equivalent academic records)  

3.1  Please translate your academic documents into English or Chinese by the legal translation agency. The certification by the embassy is not required. 

(4) Recent financial statement (within the past three months). Proving the applicant has at least US$2,000   

4.1 If you have any sponsor to support your expenses in Taiwan, please ask her or him to write a guarantor letter stating willingness to support your stay in Taiwan.

4.2 The scholarship recipient documents can be used as proof of financial resources.

Procedure of Application

 

Notices: 

  1. The minimum student number of class offerings is 6. The "Admission Letter" will be sent only when the class is confirmedly offered. Students are highly suggested to finalized the travel plan until receiving the "Admission Letter". 
  2. Free charge of enrollment. 
  3. Free charge of tutoring service in spring and summer terms. 
  4. Free charge of attending cultural activities held by CLCC.
